Regional Sales Manager, Scandinavia

Our client is expanding and in this search we are looking for a Regional Sales representative with a proactive sales mentality and technical understanding of cooling technology and industrial fan solutions. You will be responsible for presenting, promoting and selling the entire range of products and services to customers in Scandinavia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the market for fan packs and new product concepts, performing cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their technical and commercial needs, and establishing, developing and maintaining market share and positive customer relationships.

You are used to new business sales strategies and we believe that you also have a good understanding of the Scandinavian air movement market to suggest solutions of customer problems to maximize satisfaction, achieving agreed-upon sales targets. You will be coordinating sales effort with global team members and other departments and analyzing the territory/market's potential.

The ideal candidate for this position should have proven work experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the fan, HVAC & R industry or in another component sales position for the OEM industry. They should also have excellent knowledge of MS Office, familiarity with ERP/CRM systems, the ability to build productive business professional relationships, be highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in selling, negotiation and communication.

Organizational skills and ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience will be as important as relationship management skills and openness to feedback. We believe that the candidate has a relevant degree in business, engineering or a related field, and is willing to travel in Scandinavia.

The Sales Representative will report to the Sales Director for Central Europe, based in Germany, and will work closely with the sales team and other departments to achieve sales targets and KPIs. The successful candidate will be expected to keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends and continuously improve workflows.

This is a position where you will have full responsibility to deliver P&L results and to grow the Scandinavian business locally, but in a global context.
